Our planned program will help eligible families in San Diego County access positive youth activities without handing families another financial burden.
Families may be referred by community organizations, schools, reentry partners, public defenders, faith-based organizations or through community outreach.
Once launched, families will complete a brief application confirming program eligibility and the child's participation in an approved activity.
Rather than providing cash directly to families, Stronger Roots Alliance plans to pay verified activity providers directly.
Our current program model provides eligible children with funding for up to two approved activities each calendar year, subject to funding and final program policies.
